General Information

When and where is Black Tie & Boots? 
The event is on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at the Washington Hilton.   

What is the attire? 
The attire is black tie, and boots are encouraged. Men typically wear tuxedos, while women opt for full-length gowns or cocktail dresses. 

Who can attend? 
This is a 21+ event. If you wish to bring someone under 21, please email hotline@texasstatesociety.org. Requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and must be submitted by December 1, 2024.   

Will there be a coat check? 
Yes, coat check will be available near the entrances. 

Will there be parking? 
Onsite parking is very limited, and valet service will not be available. We strongly recommend using a rideshare service. 

How do I book a hotel room at the Washington Hilton? 
Hotel room reservations are currently available only to Sponsors and VIP ticket holders.

How do I become a sponsor? 
Please email hotline@texasstatesociety.org to become a sponsor for this event. 

What are the sponsorship tiers? 
Sponsorships range from $10,000 to $1,000,000 and can be reviewed HERE. For more information, contact hotline@texasstatesociety.org 

Can I be a vendor and sell merchandise? 
A limited number of vendors are allowed to sell merchandise at the event through sponsorship. Vendor sponsorship packages can be reviewed HERE. Interested merchants should contact hotline@texasstatesociety.org.

Who is performing at this year’s Ball? 
Musical talent for the 2025 Ball has not yet been announced. Please check our website and social media for updates in the coming months.

TICKETING

How much are tickets? 
General Admission Tickets: $300 
VIP Tickets: starting at $2,500

Do Texas State Society Members get a discount? 
Yes, members receive a $25 discount on tickets. Individual Membership holders can purchase up to two tickets at the discounted rate, while Family Membership holders can purchase up to four.

How do I receive my tickets? 
Tickets must be picked up at will call at the Washington Hilton during the following dates and times: 

  • Thursday, January 16th: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET 
  • Friday, January 17th: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET 
  • Saturday, January 18th: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM ET 

 

What do I need to collect my credentials at will call? 
Bring a valid government-issued ID (not a Congressional ID) and the barcode from your ticket email confirmation (which can be on your phone). 

Can someone else pick up my tickets, or can I pick up tickets for others? 
Yes, you or someone else can pick up tickets with valid government-issued IDs (not Congressional IDs) and barcodes from confirmation emails. 

What if I can’t get to will call during the allotted times? 
You must arrange for someone else to collect your credentials. No exceptions will be made. Credentials not picked up by 12:00 PM on Saturday will be void. 

When should I put on my credentials? 
Credentials should be worn visibly and securely on your wrist upon entering the event. Tampered or cut credentials will be considered invalid. Attach your credential just before the event to avoid issues. Anyone without a valid, securely worn credential will be escorted from the event. 

Can I get a refund on my ticket? 
No refunds will be provided. All payments are irrevocable, non-refundable, and non-creditable. 

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else? 
Tickets can be transferred until Friday, January 10th at 11:59 PM. Follow these steps to transfer: 

  1. Visit the My Tickets page. 
  2. Enter your email address and password. 
  3. Click Sign In. If you didn’t receive a password, check your spam folder or reset your password. 
  4. Under My Events or Order History, select your order. 
  5. Click on each attendee’s name to edit and update the new ticketholder’s email address. 
  6. Resend the confirmation email to the new ticketholder.
